Finished in Sable Black with a Gray leather interior, this 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT Spyder SL combines distinctive 1990s Japanese sports car styling with the unique design of a retractable hardtop convertible. As part of Mitsubishi’s 3000GT lineup, the Spyder SL offers a combination of sporty styling, advanced features for its era, and open-air motoring. Under the hood is a 3.0-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine, paired with a front-wheel-drive configuration. The Spyder SL was designed to combine the styling of the 3000GT with the added versatility of a power-operated retractable hardtop. According to the supplied CARFAX report, this vehicle has 51,514 miles recorded. One of the most distinctive features of the 3000GT Spyder is its power-operated retractable hardtop, allowing the vehicle to transition between a closed coupe-like configuration and an open-top convertible. Unlike traditional soft-top convertibles, the Spyder features a folding metal roof system that was an unusual offering among Japanese sports cars of the period. The Sable Black exterior is complemented by alloy wheels and radial tires, contributing to the vehicle’s recognizable sports car appearance. Its low-profile design, sculpted body lines, and retractable roof configuration reflect Mitsubishi’s approach to performance-oriented styling during the 1990s. Inside, the Gray leather interior features a driver-focused cabin equipped with a variety of comfort and convenience features. Listed equipment includes air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, power seats, keyless entry, and lumbar support. Additional equipment includes an AM/FM radio, cassette player, CD player, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, anti-lock brakes, driver and passenger airbags, seat belts, and an anti-theft system. The seller’s information sheet also lists ride control, a spare tire, and a jack. The combination of its 3.0-liter V6 engine, retractable hardtop, leather interior, and selection of power accessories reflects the technology and design associated with the Mitsubishi 3000GT Spyder SL. Its convertible configuration distinguishes it from the standard 3000GT coupe while retaining the styling of the original platform. With its Sable Black exterior, Gray leather interior, power retractable hardtop, and 51,514 recorded miles, this 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT Spyder SL presents an example of Mitsubishi’s distinctive 1990s sports car design.
