2000 Dodge Viper

About this car

Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is proud to present this 2000 Dodge Viper, an unmistakable American sports car that brings together aggressive styling, raw V10 power, and a true driver-focused experience. Finished in black with a tan leather interior, this Viper offers a striking combination of performance and classic sports car character. With fewer than 25,000 miles and a clean Carfax, this example is an exciting opportunity to own one of Dodge's most recognizable performance cars. The Dodge Viper made its debut in the early 1990s, drawing inspiration from classic American roadsters while introducing a bold new approach to performance. Developed with a focus on power, simplicity, and driver involvement, the Viper quickly established a reputation for its massive V10 engine and unapologetic personality. By 2000, the Viper had become a defining name in American performance, delivering an experience that stood apart from more refined sports cars of its era. Under the hood sits a 8.0L V10 engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The V10 delivers substantial torque and strong acceleration, giving this Viper the kind of power that makes every drive memorable. The six-speed manual puts the driver directly in control of the experience, while the engine's distinctive character provides the unmistakable sound and feel that helped make the Viper legendary. This example also features several owner-added upgrades. The Gen 3 brake setup brings later-generation Viper braking components into the mix, offering a potential improvement in braking performance depending on the specific parts installed. A short shifter reduces the movement required between gears, creating a more direct shifting experience. The Bola cat-back exhaust replaces the exhaust components behind the catalytic converters, offering a different exhaust tone and potentially improved exhaust flow. A Wilwood proportioning valve allows adjustment of the front-to-rear brake bias, helping tailor braking balance to the vehicle's setup. Completing the package are Sidewinder 2 rims, adding a distinctive wheel design that complements the Viper's muscular stance. Inside, the tan leather interior provides a warm contrast to the black exterior, creating a classic two-tone appearance while keeping the focus on the Viper's driver-oriented cockpit. With its low mileage, clean Carfax, six-speed manual transmission, V10 power, and collection of performance-oriented upgrades, this 2000 Dodge Viper represents an exciting chapter in modern American sports car history. 2000 Dodge Viper is listed by our Houston Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
