While it sits on a modern (for the time) Lincoln LS chassis, its styling features classic cues like an eggcrate grille, round headlamps, equipped with the optional removable hardtop with signature porthole windows with a greenish tint that matches the coloring of the car. This model year benefited from an engine update introduced in 2003, providing more power than the initial 2002 relaunch. Engine: 3.9-liter DOHC V8 producing 280 horsepower and 286 lb-ft of torque. Transmission: 5-speed automatic with optional Select Shift manual control. Fuel Economy: Approximately 15-17 city / 21-23 highway MPG. Drive Type: Rear-wheel drive. Seating: Strictly a 2-passenger roadster. this model is the Pacific Coast Roadster. A top-tier limited edition for 2004, featuring a unique "Monterey Mist" green paint and a light ash/dark ash two-tone interior. Often noted, while the V8 is "peppy," the car is tuned as a smooth cruiser rather than a high-performance sports car.
