Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster. The 48 Fleetmaster was the last year for what was one of Chevrolets most successful models during the 1940s. This particular Fleetmaster is a bit different than when it rolled off the assembly line. The inline six cylinder engine and three speed manual transmission have been replaced by a Vortec 350 and an automatic trans with overdrive. Maneuvering a 40s era car with manual steering wasnt always easy or fun, however, youll find power steering here which makes driving a breeze. In addition, the current owner has installed new tires, a modern radio, and upgraded gauges. If youre into the classic patina look but with more of a modern driving experience then this Fleetmaster is waiting for you.
