Through the mid-century era, Fords Thunderbird was a longstanding leader in the personal luxury coupe segment. These sixth generation Thunderbirds (1972-76) were the largest and heaviest Thunderbirds ever built by Ford, with a curb weight of almost 4500lbs. With a total length of 225 inches, you will see the sun move west in the sky just walking from the trunk to the engine compartment! Under the hood of this big bird is the optional 460 CID V8! This torque monster is paired to a 3-speed automatic so just imagine how this car can get up and go or cruise smoothly down the highway.
