Matched up with a restored black vinyl interior. Every measure was taken in keeping this Chevelle true to its original specifications except for the addition of an upgraded Richmond T-10 four-speed manual transmission. Under the hood of this beauty is the original 396-325HP engine. Complete with OEM or correct reproduction parts including a Rochester Quadra Jet four-barrel carburetor, cast iron intake manifold, heads, exhaust manifold, distributor, and the original snorkel air cleaner. Other features include a 12-bolt rear end, posi-traction, dual exhaust, manual steering, and manual brakes. The striking SS exterior features include Rally wheels w/ trim rings and caps mounted on Firestone Reproduction Redline Polyglas tires (F70x14), T-3 headlights, single sport mirror, and tinted glass. While the interior invites you to factory vinyl bench seating, wood steering wheel, seat belts, and the factory AM radio. The 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS has become a true American muscle car classic.
