The fifth-gen ZL1 Camaro is an absolute beast in the streets and was GMs take on the ultimate street driven fifth gen Camaro. Packed full of technology - like magnetic shocks, and computer assisted controls - the ZL1 had no expense spared at the time. Under the hood is an all-aluminum 580hp, supercharged, LSA V8 shared with the Cadillac CTS-V. This mighty engine is backed up by a standard six-speed manual with a factory short shifter wrapped in Alcantara and matching race inspired steering wheel. Behind the forged wheels are huge six piston Brembo brakes with floating rotors in front and 4-piston Brembos out back. Between the enhanced suspension, brakes, and heavy duty, ZL1 specific differential, theres nothing that a ZL1 isnt ready for. Fortunately the interior is equipped with ZL1 specific Recaro seats to keep you in place! This ZL1 Is finished in the photogenic, Crystal Red Metallic so common in the magazine reviews, with an all-black interior wrapped in leather and Alcantara. It was also blessed with 10k in performance goodies such as long tube headers ad full exhaust, plus a surcharger underdrive pully and cold air intake and tune. Its safe to say this ZL1 is more powerful than its factory 580hp brethren. These cars are beginning to appreciate and are very desirable for general enjoyment and racing.
