Fords smooth 3.9-liter DOHC V8 was the choice for the Lincolns and Jaguars of the time, and so it was a great choice for the T-Birds. This fuel-injected powerhouse has a good powerband to be a strong stoplight puller or an all-day highway cruiser. This versatility is only heightened by the five-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Its a personal luxury car like its ancestors, but it comes with more modern driving features. The fully independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes mean you can be confident on any road. The multi-function steering wheel features a body-color upper accent and leather trim and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates just over 7,000 Carfax reported miles.
