Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is proud to present this beautiful 2004 Ford Mustang Cobra. Just at first glance, you can tell this isnt just your average Mustang, or even an average Cobra. Dubbed the Terminator Cobra, this machine is pushing out 390hp from the Eaton Supercharged 4.6L DOHC 32 valve V8 mated to a Tremec T-56 6 Speed transmission putting power to the 3.55 Rear end Gears with a needed upgraded of 31-spline half shafts. The Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) was also upgraded with revised upper and lower control arms to handle the power increase. The tires have been upgraded to Nitto NT555s for extra grip.Vibrant colors have been a part of the Mustangs history since its beginning, with colors such as Grabber Blue, Screaming Yellow, and Twister Orange which each have their own following in some way. But one color (or colors), in particular, has stood out from anything any other car manufacturer has produced, even to this day. Finished in the ultra rare color changing Mystichrome paint, with just 495 Convertibles made this year and just 515 coupes. A mix of blue, green, purple, brown, and black hues, Mystichrome was one of the most complex paint jobs ever offered on any car. SVT worked directly with Garden State Tanning to get the Mystichrome color in the leather inserts found on the Cobras Front and rear seats. The Mystichrome leather production process required dying the leather black, then spraying the Special Mystichrome paint directly onto the leather, finally sealing it with clear to protect/prevent damage to the color-changing seat inserts. The steering wheel also had the Mystichrome color at the 2, 6, & 10 oclock positions for a stand-out and unique appearance. It gets better! With just 3,428 miles on this car, it looks like it just left the factory and has a clean CarFax to back those miles up. Both inside and out at any angle are in very great condition.
